Lexington, Missouri

Paul & Lisa

             Monday March 19 th ~
     Published from the library in Mansfield, Missouri.
          Tuesday March 20 th ~
     Headed north towards the Ozarks in central Missouri.
          Wednesday March 21 st ~
     Sang for some sweet folks at the "Northridge Place" assisted living facility in Lebanon. Missouri.
          Thursday March 22 nd ~
     In Fayette, Missouri is located one of the few nursing homes which allow me to park overnight and even use their showers. I ministered for the folks this morning, then walked next door to the community's "Senior Center" where I was able to share a bit before lunch.
          Friday March 23 rd ~
     Said my goodbyes and drove a short distance to Bonneville, Missouri where I was able to share at the "Ashley Manor Care Center".
          Saturday March 24 th ~
     Drove to Lexington, Missouri and hooked up with friends' Paul & Lisa who pastor the First Baptist Church.
          Sunday March 25 th ~
     Paul had me present my testimony, song and message during today's service. Then more fellowship time with my friends.
         
And so begins another week.

Mansfield, Missouri


  As they (Elijah & Elisha) were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.

             Monday March 12 th ~
     Drove to Mountain Grove, Missouri to publish the newsletter from a McDonald's. Then over to the "Autumn Oaks" nursing home in town where I was able to minister for the folks.
          Tuesday March 13 th ~
     A day off at the Baptist church in Macomb, Missouri where I'm parked.
          Wednesday March 14 th ~
     Enjoyed a fellowship meal with the folks here in Macomb during mid-week services.
          Thursday March 15 th ~
     Ministered at the "Rocky Ridge" nursing home in Mansfield, Missouri. Then back to the church where I completed an oil change on the van.
          Friday March 16 th ~
     Sang for some residents at the "Country Living" assisted living facility in Mountain Grove.
          Saturday March 17 th ~
     A day of rest.
          Sunday March 18 th ~
     Attended the early service of the "Cowboy Church" in this area, where I was given the honor of sharing a bit. Then drove a few miles to the small town of Vanzant in time to share a little at the church where a dear pastor friend (Allen) is temporarily filling in.
     Back in Macomb, I enjoyed the opportunity to share a few thoughts during the evening service. Then joined a group for dinner at a McDonald's.
And so begins another week.

Macomb, Missouri

"Senior Center" Greenwood, Arkansas
   Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

             Monday March 5 th ~
     Started this week in Hartford, Arkansas. Drove to the Senior Center in the town of Greenwood where I'd been invited to join a group who sing there once a month.
          Tuesday March 6 th ~
     Continued east to Russellville, Arkansas and sang in their Health & Rehab facility.
          Wednesday March 7 th ~
     Drove north to the "Newton County Nursing Home" in Jasper, Arkansas.
          Thursday March 8 th ~
     Took a day off.
          Friday March 9 th ~
     Crossed the border into Missouri to the town of Ava where I ministered at the "Ava Place". The activity director asked me to go to a room where their Chaplain was with a man who was close to passing. We sang for a bit, then gathered a sweet group of residents in a comfortable room across the hall, singing for the Lord.
          Saturday March 10 th ~
     Hooked up with folks at the Baptist church in Macomb, Missouri.
          Sunday March 11 th ~
     Enjoyed the opportunity to share a bit in the morning and evening services here in Macomb.
 
And so begins another week.

Hartford, Arkansas

Cedar Lake
   Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.

             Monday February 26 th ~
     Drove to Seymour, Texas and got permission to publish the newsletter from a motel lobby. Then got over to this small town's nursing home where I was allowed to share with the folks.
          Tuesday February 27 th ~
     Crossed the border into Oklahoma to the town of Altus where I got to minister at the "Tamarack" ALF.
          Wednesday February 28 th ~
     Drove to Hobart, Oklahoma and sang at "The Living Center".
          Thursday March 1 st ~
     Continuing east, I stopped in Lexington, Oklahoma and sang at the "Broadway Living Center". A large/older dilapidated facility. Afterwards, an old-timer came up to me and mockingly asked, "What do you get ($) for doing this?". I told him, "There's no charge".
     Later I realized I may have missed an opportunity to elaborate on the concept of storing up riches in heaven.
          Friday March 2 nd ~
     Shared at the "Talihina Manor" in Talihina, Oklahoma. Another old/poor facility.
          Saturday March 3 rd ~
     Stopped in Heavener, Oklahoma to do the laundry chore, then crossed the border into Arkansas to the AG church in Hartford.
          Sunday March 4 th ~
     Attended the AG church here in Hartford where I got to contribute songs in the morning and evening services.
 

And so begins another week.
