As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD's word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God?
Psalm 18:30, 31
          Monday October 24 th ~

"Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own? "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."
Luke 16:10-13
          Monday October 17 th ~
Last week I had a bout with a flu bug. It traumatized my insides which are still mending. And of course I shouldn't go into a nursing home for a few more days, to make sure I don't spread this.
          Tuesday October 18 th ~
Did a little walking. I'm on the mend.
          Wednesday October 19 th ~
In La Crosse, Kansas the "First Christian Church" brings in about thirty children after school for a service, crafts and a meal prior to parents picking them up. The pastor (Mark) gave me the opportunity to share with the kids in the sanctuary for their service. I sang a few songs. Presented the "Australian Mission Trip" slide show on the big screen. And took some time to answer questions from the little-ones. A sweet time.
          Thursday October 20 th ~
Continuing southeast, I stopped in Kinsley, Kansas and ministered at their nursing home for about ten folks.
          Friday October 21 st ~
Angled across the far west side of Oklahoma to Clayton, New Mexico where I was able to sing for some folks in their nursing home.
          Saturday October 22 nd ~
Drove to "Beulah Retreat" just outside of Albuquerque. Jerry & Annette (founders of "Faith Comes by Hearing") live on this five acre place and provide a place to rest for ministers/missionaries. For the fourth year in a row I get to stop for a few days and say hi.
          Sunday October 23 rd ~
Attended an Assembly of God church nearby where I was given the honor of sharing a bit during the service.
A family from Egypt (who live on the property at Beulah Retreat) had me over for dinner this evening for some wonderful Christian fellowship.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.

A song of ascents. Out of the depths I cry to you, LORD; Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy. If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you. I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope. I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.
Psalm 130:1-6

          Monday October 3 rd ~
Started off this week in Dubois, Wyoming where I published from the "Mountain Grace" church. Then drove east, stopping in Fort Washakie on the "Wind River Indian Reservation" where I was able to share at the "Morning Star" nursing home.
          Tuesday October 4 th ~
Crossed the border into Nebraska and sang at the nursing home in the small town of Kimball. Then just a few miles east of there I stopped at a small RV Park where the owner (Lynn); upon learning of the ministry, gave me a night for half price ($10). Then a moment later, gave the $10 back, providing a free night.
It is amazing how this gesture, much more than the money, encourages me and lifts my spirit. MGBH!
          Wednesday October 5 th ~
Continuing east, stopped and ministered at the nursing home in the town of Chappell.
          Thursday October 6 th ~
Sang at the "Centennial Park" nursing home in North Platte, Nebraska for a large group of folks.
          Friday October 7 th ~
Drove east to Broken Bow, Nebraska where I was able to minister at the "Off Broadway" assisted living facility. The Administrator invited me to stay for lunch. So I got to visit with quite a few folks.
          Saturday October 8 th ~
Hooked up with long-time friends Bill & Jo in Osceola, Nebraska.
          Sunday October 9 th ~
Attended the Methodist church here in town where I was given the honor of sharing a bit during the service. Then joined the pastor in the next town over (Shelby) for their service, where I also got to shared a bit. Followed by lunch with some of the members at a local place.

And so begins another week.

"A rich man may be wise in his own eyes, but a poor man who has discernment sees through him."
Proverbs 28:11

          Monday September 26 th ~
Published from the "Willow Bay Baptist" church in American Falls, Idaho. Then sang at the "Spring Creek Manor" assisted living facility for the folks. Just before I started, a lady left her walker behind a couch and tripped & fell while going to sit down. Staff checked her out and ended up having an ambulance take her to the hospital for evaluation.
          Tuesday September 27 th ~
Ministered at the nursing home attached to the hospital here in American Falls.
          Wednesday September 28 th ~
Drove east to Blackfoot, Idaho where I was finally able to share at the "Gables" assisted living facility. The first two nursing homes I stopped at had things already scheduled. Which is a good thing.
          Thursday September 29 th ~
Crossed into Wyoming and continued on through the Teton National Forest all the way to Dubois where I was able to park at the "Mountain Grace" church, as in years past.
          Friday September 30 th ~
Sang at the "Warm Valley Lodge" assisted living facility here in Dubois for a wonderful group of folks. Then got invited to stay for a delicious lunch.
While singing, I did struggle a little bit with the altitude; having some shortness of breath here and there. Something I've had to deal with for the past few years as I go into higher elevations.
          Saturday October 1 st ~
     A day of rest.
          Sunday October 2 nd ~
Attended "Mountain Grace" where I was given the honor of sharing a bit during the worship service.

And so begins another week.
