The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon's Colonnade. No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.

Acts 5: 12-16

          Monday July 20 th ~

Drove south down the Oregon coast to Lincoln City where I hooked up with friends at the Foursquare church. Arranged to minister in some local nursing homes this coming week and published the newsletter from the church.
          Tuesday July 21 st ~
Sang at the  "Lakeview" assisted living facility in their main dinning room, then enjoyed having lunch with five of the lady's at their table.
          Wednesday July 22 nd ~
Spent the bulk of the day doing domestic chores including a bear-of-a-time repairing one of the day/night shades from the van. Then at the mid-week meeting I got to visit with my friend Don.
          Thursday July 23 rd ~
Ministered at the "Hillside Place" here in Lincoln City.
At one point, a lady stood up and said, "I want to tell you something."   Yes mam?" I replied.
She said, "Years ago I was living at "Baycrest" in South Beach (30 miles south) when you sang for us and stayed the night in our guest room. You left early the next morning. This is the first time since then that I've been where you were at, and able to hear you."
She added a few encouraging complements which got a positive response from the other residents.
Later in the afternoon I went out to dear friends' Don & Pat's for dinner and some sweet fellowship.
          Friday July 24 th ~
Attended an early morning breakfast fellowship with a bunch of Christian men from around town at a local restaurant. Got invited to share a bit about the ministry and afterwords the owner (Cary) did a video interview with me for his ministerial website.
Later, a sweet visit with my dear friend Darrell (Pastor at Foursquare). Then Tom & Sarah showed up at the church. They are the lovely couple from Alabama who provided the ministry's Tour Bus a year and a half ago. They're on a long trip around the country and timing was conducive for us to connect.
          Saturday July 25 th ~
Attended the men's Bible Study Breakfast here at Foursquare. Tom & Sarah joined us for donuts and some visiting time before continuing on their journey.
          Sunday July 26 th ~
Attended worship services here at Foursquare where I was given the honor of sharing a bit. Then accompanied Don & Pat to Pig-n-Pancakes for a meal.

And so begins another week.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Romans 12: 17- 21

          Monday July 13 th ~
Breakfast with my friend Charlie. Then published from the Gospel Mountain church here in Thompson Falls, Montana.
Drove to Sandpoint, Idaho and had dinner with Jon & Cathy who pastor the Church of God.
          Tuesday July 14 th ~
Crossed the border into Washington State and stopped in the town of Ritzville where both the nursing home and the assisted living facility had their door's aggressively closed to my ministry. But on down the road in the town of Moses Lake folks at the "Columbia Care Center" welcomed me with open arms. Oh what a difference.
          Wednesday July 15 th ~
Drove to Cashmere, Washington and sang at their nursing home. Then crossed the parking lot to the assisted living facility where I was able to minister as well.
          Thursday Jule 16 th ~
Up early driving west across the Wanatchee Mountains through the Cascade Range to just above Seattle where I connected with Lawrence at a Walmart. Lawrence and I first met back in 2005 at a church picnic in this area. In the past he'd been a Heroin addict living on the street and at one point got saved.
Sometime after we met, he began preaching on the street full time in Seattle and the Bay area of California. This past year someone donated a full size van which he has outfitted to live in, and now preaches on the street in major city's such as Houston, Dallas, Denver, Seattle, Los Angelos et cetera. We haven't connected since 2011, so we spent the afternoon visiting and reminiscing.
          Friday July 17 th ~
Waited until almost mid-morning to start down the I-5 corridor through Seattle hoping the heaving morning traffic would have eased by then. Still, had to deal with a hundred miles of four and five lanes of vehicles going sixty miles an hour all bunched up. Then another hundred miles of mildly heavy traffic. Thankfully, no wrecks along the way. Only a few slow-downs here and there.
One of the more stressful drives I endure, when I take this route.
          Saturday July 18 th ~
Having crossed into Oregon, I spent the day relaxing at the city park campground in Catskanie.
          Sunday July 19 th ~
Drove to the Oregon coast and down a ways to Bay City just north of Tillamook where I attended the Methodist church. They invited me to share a bit during their fellowship time after the service and even took up a little love offering. Sweet!
One of the members happens to be a resident at a nearby assisted living home (The Griffith House). She invited me there for lunch and to sing, which I did. Then, I got a shower at a private campground for a few quarters and parked overnight at the city park back in Bay City.

And so begins another week.

Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Mark 16:16

          Monday July 6 th ~
Parked at the Morning Star Baptist church in Lame Deer, Montana located on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. Published the newsletter accessing their wifi. Enjoyed a long visit with my friend Dean (Pastor). Then drove west, ending up at a free campground on the Yellowstone river outside of Columbus, Montana.
          Tuesday July 7 th ~
Drove to Manhattan, Montana and sang at the "Parkhaven" assisted living facility.
          Wednesday July 8 th ~
Continuing west, I took a little detour into the Beaverhead - Deerlodge National Forest to a primitive campground where I spent some time among the trees doing some reading and writing.
          Thursday July 9 th ~
A bit further west, I stopped in Phillipsburg, Montana; an old mining town turned tourist spot where I was able to minister in the nursing home attached to the small hospital.
          Friday July 10 th ~
     Drove to Thompson Falls, Montana.
Timing was pretty good. Friends' from the Gospel Mountain Assembly of God church were at the "Cherry Hill" small personal care home singing for the folks. I got invited to bring in the Gibson and join in.
          Saturday July 11 th ~
Enjoyed a bi-monthly prayer breakfast with ten ministers from around town followed by a relaxing afternoon.
          Sunday July 12 th ~
Attended worship services here at the Gospel Mountain church where I was given the opportunity to share a couple of songs. Then joined the congregation at a nearby State Park for a picnic and Baptism at the Clark Fork River.
Later on, several couples put their boats in the water to give the kids rides on this near perfect day, weather-wise. Not too hot, not too cold.

And so begins another week.

The path of the righteous is level; you, the Upright One, make the way of the righteous smooth. Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts. My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.
Isaiah 26:7-9

          Monday June 29 th ~
Published from the Guest Room at the "Trinity" healthcare facility in Minot, North Dakota.
          Tuesday June 30 th ~
Ministered at "Maple View" memory care here in Minot. Then enjoyed a long lunch with my friends' Bob and his wife (pastors at the Baptist church).
From there I swung by Dan and his wife's house (pastors at the Lighthouse church) for a final visit before I head out tomorrow.
          Wednesday July 1 st ~
Drove to Williston, North Dakota and sang at the "Bethel Lutheran" health & rehab facility for a large group of residents, staff & visitors. Williston is an oil "Boom Town" which has exploded over the past few years. Massive traffic problems and expensive lodging. So, the folks at the nursing home allow me to park in their lot overnight and plug in an extension cord for power.
          Thursday July 2 nd ~
Drove to Watford City and sang at the "Good Samaritan" nursing home, then crossed the border into Montana.
          Friday July 3 rd ~
Stopped in Miles City, Montana and shared at the nursing home attached to the hospital. Staff members gathered most all the residents in this rather large facility. I noticed quite a few employees sticking around for a few minutes in-between their duties. It made for a joyful time.
          Saturday July 4 th ~
Drove to Lame Deer, Montana on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation and hooked up with friends' Dean & Kelley, pastors at the Morning Star Baptist church. This community holds their annual "Pow Wow" on the Fourth, so I got to spend some time enjoying the sights and sounds of this unique event. Then joined Dean & Kelley for a cookout at her parents house about twenty miles away.
          Sunday July 5 th ~
Attended "Morning Star" where I was given the honor of contributing some songs, testimony and message during the service.

And so begins another week.
