Monday July 6 th ~
Parked at the Morning Star
Baptist church in Lame Deer, Montana located on the Northern Cheyenne
Indian Reservation. Published the newsletter accessing their wifi.
Enjoyed a long visit with my friend Dean (Pastor). Then drove west,
ending up at a free campground on the Yellowstone river outside of
Columbus, Montana.
Tuesday July 7 th ~
Drove to Manhattan, Montana and sang at the "Parkhaven" assisted living facility.
Wednesday July 8 th ~
Continuing west, I took a little detour into the Beaverhead - Deerlodge
National Forest to a primitive campground where I spent some time among
the trees doing some reading and writing.
Thursday July 9 th ~
A bit further west, I stopped in Phillipsburg, Montana; an old mining
town turned tourist spot where I was able to minister in the nursing
home attached to the small hospital.
Friday July 10 th ~
Drove to Thompson Falls, Montana.
Timing was pretty good.
Friends' from the Gospel Mountain Assembly of God church were at the
"Cherry Hill" small personal care home singing for the folks. I got
invited to bring in the Gibson and join in.
Saturday July 11 th ~
Enjoyed a bi-monthly prayer breakfast with ten ministers from around town followed by a relaxing afternoon.
Sunday July 12 th ~
Attended worship services here at the Gospel Mountain church where I was given the opportunity to share a couple of songs. Then joined the congregation at a nearby State Park for a picnic and Baptism at the Clark Fork River.
Later on, several couples put their boats in the water to give the kids rides on this near perfect day, weather-wise. Not too hot, not too cold.
And so begins another week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Your Brother in Christ, Larry Eugene Stevens
P.S. To God be the Glory!
