I want to know Christ--yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.

Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading Israel at that time. She held court under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites came to her to have their disputes decided.
Judges 4:4,5

          Monday June 9 th ~
In Thief River Falls, Minnesota I was able to minister in their Care Center. A beautiful, roomy, brand new facility. I shared for the first twenty minutes of a scheduled bible study in the activity room, then about the same in each of the two wings leading off the main concourse.
          Tuesday June 10 th ~
Sang at the "Valley Home" facility here in Thief River Falls. The staff made an extra effort to gather a rather large crowd including quite a few from the Alzheimer's Unit. Once everyone was settled in, we enjoyed a sweet gentle time of worship.
          Wednesday June 11 th ~
Drove a bit further west to a Walmart for the night. Bought a three dollar ice-pack to keep in the freezer. The tennis elbow which plagued me for so long last summer made a brief appearance. After using the ice-pack it went away.
          Thursday June 12 th ~
At "The Villa" complex in Crookston, Minnesota I was able to minister for a lovely group of residents and staff in their Chapel which was designed with beautiful acoustics.
          Friday June 13 th ~
Crossed the border into North Dakota and sang at the "Good Samaritan" nursing home in the town of Lakota. Then on to Rugby, North Dakota considered the geographical center of North America.
          Saturday June 14 th ~
Jim & Rhea, owners of the "Oakwood Inn RV Park" here in Rugby, have for the second year in a row provided a place to park and shower, as a gift for the ministry. MGBT!
          Sunday June 15 th ~
Attended services at the "North Prairie Lutheran Church" just outside of Leeds, North Dakota where I was given the honor of leading the song service. Then over to the "Lebanon Lutheran Church" in Leeds where I met the new pastor (Pamela) who promptly offered the same honor.
The previous pastor (Brenda) passed on shortly after I was through here last year, as the result of a tragic single car accident. She was close to my age, never married,  pastor-ed two churches and was the hospital Chaplin as well. Sweet Girl!

And so begins another week.

The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching. For Scripture says, "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain," and "The worker deserves his wages." Do not entertain an accusation against an elder unless it is brought by two or three witnesses. Those who sin are to be rebuked publicly, so that the others may take warning.
1 Timothy 5:17-20

          Monday June 2 nd ~
Published from "Inspiration Ministries" here in southern Wisconsin.
          Tuesday June 3 rd ~
Ministered at the "Kindred Hearts" assisted living facility in Elkhorn, Wisconsin.
          Wednesday June 4 th ~
Drove into Central Wisconsin all the way to Stevens Point.
          Thursday June 5 th ~
Ministered at the "Care Partners" assisted living facility in Stevens Point. This complex has two separate buildings with kitchen and living rooms in each. So I sang for awhile in one, then went next door to share as well.
Continued north to just short of the Michigan Upper Peninsula where I stumbled onto a little wooded campground.
          Friday June 6 th ~
     Had a rough night.
Mosquitoes somehow found their way into the van and kept waking me up during the night. I finally got up about 4:00 am with an overpowering number (Dozens) of the little varmints nipping around. Reminded me of that scene in the movie "African Queen" when Humphrey Bogart and Katharine Hepburn eased their boat over to the river's edge and were immediately engulfed by a cloud of thousands of mosquitoes.
Well, I quickly got dressed and out on the highway by 4:30 am with the windows down trying to get rid of them.
Spent most of the day driving west through Wisconsin, on into Minnesota in an effort to get away from the infestation. Made it all the way to Camp Itasca RV Park and Campground which is managed by fiends' Craig and Rosann.
They introduced me to a can of Raid. (There were still a dozen or so of the little pest hang'n around.)
          Saturday June 7 th ~
Spent the day with my friends, including an evening meal at the Volunteer Fire Department's annual "Meat Ball & Gravy Benefit  Banquet".
          Sunday June 8 th ~
When I first arrived here I'd met the owner (Frank) who is an Elder at a Community church one-hundred miles northwest of here. He'd invited me to stop in, so I left this morning at 6:00 am and drove to Thief River Falls, Minnesota where I was given the opportunity to share about the ministry and sing a song.
These thoughtful folks even took up a Love Offering for the ministry. Praise God!

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.

Then Jesus said to his host, "When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or sisters, your relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."
Luke 14:12-14

          Friday May 30 th ~
Enjoyed the honor of sharing some songs during the Devotion Time here at Inspiration Ministries.
Had lunch with a dear Sister in the next town over, then an afternoon relaxing back at I.M.
That's when I experienced a strange dizzy spell which lasted an hour or so. Something to pray about?
          Saturday May 31 st ~
Ministered in the nearby town of Williams Bay at their Care Center for a lovely group of folks. Then across the street, I spent some time sitting on a front porch visiting with a long time friend (John) and his family.
          Sunday June 1 st ~
Attended the "Living Word" church in Delavan, Wisconsin where the pastor (Keith) gave me half the sermon time to share in song and testimony.
