"'Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable. "'Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion. "'Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways...

          Sunday June 28 th ~
Attended morning services at the "Bethel Free Lutheran" church here in Minot where I was given a fifteen minute window to share in song, testimony and message.

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Matthew 28:18

          Monday June 8  th ~
Got an early start on the day here in Mattawa, Ontario, Canada.
First to the laundry mat in town where I had to figure out what coins to use. They have one dollar (Canadian) coins they call loonies.
Then to the nursing home in town where I was able to go right in and start singing for a large group gathered in the main foyer. Staff administration had a fire drill scheduled, which they delayed for an hour, until I'd finished. Thoughtful!
Ended up at the public library located in the High School where I tried to publish the newsletter. I was unable to access the web-hosting site due to an error I've encountered once before. So I went ahead and sent out the update without a link to the website. Then went through the process of uninstalling the program, downloading a newer version from the web-hosting site, then reinstalling. I was then able to publish. All this took some time, so I stayed another night in the same campground here in Mattawa.
          Tuesday June 9 th ~
Drove west for quite a few kilometers today. With an uncomfortable tickle in the back of my throat along with an ear ache, I thought it might be a good thing to rest the voice for a bit.
          Wednesday June 10 th ~
Drove on across western Ontario to Sault Ste. Marie where I crossed the border into the upper peninsula of Michigan. Continued west for a bit to a campground where I settled in and took an aspirin.
          Thursday June 11 th ~
     More miles, more aspirin.
          Friday June 12 th ~
Drove across the northern part of Wisconsin into Minnesota, popping vitamins and another aspirin.
          Saturday June 13 th ~
     Feeling a bit better.
Stopped at the "Pioneer Memorial Care Center" near Erskine, Minnesota and sang for a small group of folks.
          Sunday June 14 th ~
Attended the "Community Church International" in Thief River Falls, Minnesota where I was given the opportunity to share some testimony about the Lord's provision along with some short messages. Then, after lunch with a lovely Sister in Christ, I returned to the city campground where the host gave me a free night, to help support the ministry. May God Bless Them!

And so begins another week.

Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the LORD will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.
Proverbs 3:25, 26

          Monday June 1 st ~
Published the newsletter from the home of my host Jim & Sharon here in Oneonta, New York. Then, using Jim's tools, I spent the rest of the day doing cabinet alteration to accommodate and secure the new microwave they provided.
          Tuesday June 2 nd ~
Said my goodbyes to this sweet couple. Drove down the street to the "Chestnut" nursing home here in Oneonta where I was able to minister. Then on the road again.
          Wednesday June 3 rd ~
Driving north I stopped in Boonville, New York and sang at the "Sunset" nursing home.
          Thursday June 4 th ~
Crossed the border into Canada where the border patrol put me through the ringer. Searching the van and questioning me for quite some time trying to come to an understanding of my "Out-of-the-Box" lifestyle.
Eventually, in the end, I was grudgingly allowed to enter the country. They even told me I could sing in nursing homes and churches, but I couldn't do any "Real Work".
Drove north to Smiths Falls, Ontario and ministered at the "Willowdale" facility where I was enthusiastically received.
          Friday June 5 th ~
Made the turn west, stopping in the small town of Cobden where I was able to share at the "Caresant Care" retirement home.
          Saturday June 6 th ~
Drove a bit further west to a private campground where I got in a nice long walk and some R & R.
          Sunday June 7 th ~
Drove to the town of Mattawa where I attended the "St. Alban the Martyr" Anglican Church. The Priest-in-Charge (Karen) gave me fifteen minutes during the service to share in song, testimony and message. And at the coffee and cake fellowship afterwards they even slipped me a little something for the ministry.

And so begins another week.

The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered. Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.

          Monday May 25 th ~
     Memorial Day!
Published the newsletter from the Nazarene church in Logansport, Indiana. Then joined the pastor (Jeff) for lunch at their house. Followed by a rare afternoon nap back in the van. Then attended the evening Revival service going on this week.
          Tuesday May 26 th ~
Said my goodbyes and drove to Kokomo, Indiana to the "Friendship Haven" retirement community where I was able to sing for the folks and visit my friend Mary Ellen.
          Wednesday May 27 th ~
Crossed into Ohio and sang in the Alzheimer's section of the "Van Wert Manor". Then on to the town of Willard where I plugged in at the Assembly of God church. A mild disaster struck!
Best we can figure is: This is the first time someone plugged into the 30 amp RV outlet installed a while back, incorrectly. They wired it 220 instead of the proper 110. Fried the electronics in my power converter and the microwave. Thankfully the air conditioner and frig survived.
          Thursday May 28 th ~
Headed north stopping at an RV place where an unfriendly old codger took a quick look at the converter, grudgingly giving me a little information to work with. I decided not to let them fool with it and continued northeast crossing the corner of Pennsylvania into New York State.
Found a family campground with a friendly maintenance man (Todd) who took a look with his voltage meter helping me isolate the damaged converter which got some electrical outlets working. Wouldn't let me pay him for his effort.
          Friday May 29 th ~
Continuing east, I stopped in Olean, New York and ministered at the "Eden Heights" facility. First in the main activity area, then back in the memory care section.
          Saturday May 30 th ~
Drove to Oneonta, New York to meet Jim & Sharon for the first time. For many years they've been ministering in nursing homes in their area. A few years ago they stumbled onto my website and began communicating. A few months ago I felt that it was time to loop into the northeast and say hi.
          Sunday May 31 st ~
Accompanied my host to another town where they held a worship service for 40 folks in a nursing home. I too was given the honor of sharing a bit in song and message. On the way back Jim & Sharon stopped at a Walmart to purchase a microwave for me. May God Bless Them!

And so begins another week.
