Larry ministers in nursing homes full time.
For the most part, simply singing those old gospel hymns they grew up with.
He travels around the country all year long.
Does not have a home he goes back to.
Sharing the Gospel of Jesus in up to 200 facility's a year as well as 40 some odd churches.
He began on August 17, 2004 with an old minivan and some camping gear.
Spent the first three months pitching a tent every night.
Then the good Lord opened his mind to rig the van to sleep in, with curtains, a bed and a portable toilet.
The first full year of 2005 there were 208 nursing homes and about 30 churches ministered in.
Through the first 9 years there were 2 more minivans donated before the previous one's wore out.
Then in 2014 a couple donated their older, slightly larger camper van which is rated as a Class B Motor-home.
Through the years the good Lord has made it possible for Larry to record and produce 11 Cd's as well as a book project. In his words, "Strictly amateur hour".
Larry lives on the road. Since August of 2004. Singing gospel music in nursing homes and churches all across the United States.
God bless you for all you do, I also Minister at Nursing Homes, right now I have 3 sometimes 4 a week, Singing Hymns and sharing the word of God. I get to stay in my home, but it's still lot more work than most would think, but God continues to bless me.
