Thompson Falls, Montana

VBS Lame Deer, Montana
Remember him--before the silver cord is severed, and the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, and the wheel broken at the well, and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
Ecclesiastes 12:6, 7

          Monday June 18 th ~
Published from the Morning Star Baptist Church in Lame Deer, Montana on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. Then joined a mission group from Colorado camped at the Pow Wow grounds. Got to watch the first evening of their VBS for the local kids.
          Tuesday June 19 th ~
Said my goodbyes at breakfast and headed west.
Stopped at two facilities to minister, but both already had activities going. Which is a good thing.
          Wednesday June 20 th ~
Further west, I was able to share with some folks in the nursing home in Livingston, Montana.
          Thursday June 21 st ~
At the nursing home in Deer Lodge, Montana I was ministering in their combination dinning/activity room when a lady came in with a cart and preceded to move chairs around to sweep and mop. I convinced her to check with her supervisor to see if she could do something else until we were finished. Which she did.
Most of us tend to get set in our ways. As we go about our lives, the things we do and how we do them often affect others. Sometimes positively, sometimes negatively. If only we could be aware of this and be willing and prepared to adjust/change, for the benefit of others.
          Friday June 22 nd ~
Hooked up with friends at the "Gospel Mountain Assembly of God" in Thompson Falls, Montana.
          Saturday June 23 rd ~
Breakfast and some visiting with Charlie (Pastor).
          Sunday June 24 th ~
Attended morning services here at Gospel Mountain where I was given the opportunity to sing a couple of songs.
A visiting couple (Tony & Nancy) took my to lunch. Then at evening services I enjoyed the honor of sharing a bit more.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
