John & Connie
Give praise to the LORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice. Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
Psalm 105:1-4

             Monday April 9 th ~
Started this week parked at the "Westfield Community Church" in Grinnell, Iowa with about three inches of snow on the ground.
Streets were passable, so I got over to the laundry mat and published the newsletter; doing double chores.
Then met my Sister in Christ (Francene) for a goodbye lunch in anticipation of heading out tomorrow.
          Tuesday April 10 th ~
Got on the road early and crossed into Illinois.
          Wednesday April 11 th ~
Stopped in Toulon, Illinois and sang for the folks in their nursing home.
          Thursday April 12 th ~
Ministered in the "Garden Court" (memory care section of Liberty Village) in Clinton, Illinois. Then hooked up with old friends' John & Connie at the "Little Galilee Christian Camp" just outside of Clinton.
John & Connie are connected to a ministry (Sowers) comprised of RV'ers who spend time at facilities like this one helping out with repairs, maintenance and such. John & Connie also have a music ministry SaltyStrings.com whereby they share in nursing homes and churches.
          Friday April 13 th ~
Sang for a large group in the main activity room at "Liberty Village".
          Saturday April 14 th ~
Enjoyed the opportunity to share with about forty folks during a Senior (70 and older) Luncheon Banquet at a church in Decatur, Illinois.
John & Connie were scheduled there a month or so ago. But John has been dealing with a sever back issue the past few days. So they gave me the honor of stepping in.
          Sunday April 15 th ~
This morning here at "Little Galilee", a group of thirty women (members of a quilting/scrap-booking club) staying at the camp this weekend, held a worship service where I was given the chance to share a bit in song & message.
          And so begins another week.

Got over to the "Mayflower" facility in town to sing for the folks.
          Friday April 6 th ~
Ministered at the "St. Frances" nursing home here in Grinnell.
          Saturday April 7 th ~
     A day of rest.
          Sunday April 8 th ~
The Nazarene church in town very graciously gave me the sermon time to share during worship services this morning. I then enjoyed a traditional Sunday lunch at the home of some of the members.

And so begins another week.
