Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
Colossians 3:5, 6

          Monday April 18 th ~

Began this week in Logansport, Indiana where I've had the privilege of spending time with some sweet Brothers & Sisters. Said my goodbyes and drove northwest into Illinois.
          Tuesday April 19 th ~
Continued north into southern Wisconsin to "Inspiration Ministries". An awesome place which has for years now given me a place to park at their RV hookups located near the Lodge which is part of the Conference Center in the wooded area at the back of the property. And even given me the use of one of the cabins for the week or two I'm here. What a Blessing!
          Wednesday April 20 th ~
Sang here at "I.M." for a large group of folks in their Family Room. This is a non-profit, faith based (all about Jesus) facility specializing in residents of all ages dealing with physical and cognitive disabilities.
          Thursday April 21 st ~
Ministered at the "Kindred Hearts" assisted living facility in a town nearby (Elkhorn) for seven residents.
          Friday April 22 nd ~
Shared at the nursing home in Williams Bay just a few miles from Inspiration Ministries.
          Saturday April 23 rd ~
For a few weeks I've been dealing with a nagging irritation. One of several. But today I googled this one which turns out to be self diagnose-able.
"Stenosing Tenosynovitis" or commonly called trigger finger. Having to do with tendons, repetitive stress and such. I've started the stretching and massaging treatment recommended. Hopefully it won't take as long to heal as the tennis elbow did a couple of years ago.
          Sunday April 24 th ~
Attended the "Living Word Assembly of God" in Delavan, Wisconsin where I was given the honor of sharing in song, testimony and message during the sermon time.
A delicious lunch with the pastor and wife, followed by a relaxing afternoon back at the camp.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

"Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."
Joshua 24:14, 15

          Monday April 11 th ~

Published from the Nazarene church in Logansport, Indiana where the pastor (Jeff) has given me a place to park and plug-in, as well as a key to the building for access to the shower and wifi.
          Tuesday April 12 th ~
One of the church members (John Henry) arranged for me to minister at the Senior Citizen Center here in Logansport. Went very well.
Later, I joined a youth group at the Theater to view "God's Not Dead 2".
          Wednesday April 13 th ~
Sang for a large group at the "WoodBridge" facility in town.
Lunch with pastor friend (Horace). And mid-week services back at the Naz church.
          Thursday April 14 th ~
Sang at the "Camelot Care Center". A facility specializing in children with sever disabilities. Words can hardly describe this experience. I will simply say that I'll make every effort to return here in the future.
          Friday April 15 th ~
Did an oil change on the van yesterday afternoon. Today, I took a day trip to Kokomo, Indiana to see an old friend (Mary Ellen) and sing for the folks at the "Friendship Haven" retirement community.
          Saturday April 16 th ~
Attended the Saturday worship service at the "Lake Cicott United Methodist Church" where Adam (pastor) gave me most of the sermon time to share in song, testimony and message.
          Sunday April 17 th ~
Attended "Bethlehem United Methodist Church" at Twelve Mile, Indiana where I enjoyed the honor, Adam again gave me, of sharing during most of the sermon time with these lovely folks. Followed by some sweet fellowship time at their pot-luck meal afterwards.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.

"Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations. He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his teaching the islands will put their hope."
Isaiah 42:1-4

          Monday April 4 th ~

Started this week in Grinnell, Iowa where I published from the library. Then drove east into Illinois.
          Tuesday April 5 th ~
Stopped in El Paso, Illinois and sang at their "Health Center". This facility seems to specialize in residents of all ages dealing with mental issues.
They had me in a small room with five residents. As I started, I could see through the window about fifty residents line-up outside where a staff member would give each (one-at-a-time) a cigarette and light it for them.
Eventually about five more came into the room I was in.
Kind of sad, in some ways.
          Wednesday April 6 th ~
Having crossed into Indiana I hooked up with old friends at the Nazarene church in Logansport.
During mid-week services I was given the opportunity to share a bit.
          Thursday April 7 th ~
Rain, snow & sleet most all day. Got to spend some time with old friends.
          Friday April 8 th ~
Ministered at the "Mckinney Place" assisted living facility in town.
          Saturday April 9 th ~
Woke up to snow on the ground. Guess I went too far north, too quick. This year.
Enjoyed dinner-out with old friends' Rod & Cheryl.
          Sunday April 10 th ~
During morning worship services here at the Nazarene church I was given the honor of contributing a Special. Then got over to Horace & Linda's (previous pastor) for a delicious lunch.
Attended evening services, then joined several members for a little fellowship at Arbys.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.

So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, "Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me." When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go."
John 11:41-44
