November 21, 2016

Greetings,

For Newsletter with music and pictures click on;www.nursinghomemusicministry.com/11-21-2016.html

"You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
Matthew 5:43-48
          Monday November 14 th ~
Started this week in El Paso, Texas where I published from the "Westside Community Church". Said my goodbyes and angled up into southeast New Mexico to Alamogordo where I was able to share in the "Good Samaritan" nursing home. Then hooked up for a visit and dinner with some old friends.
          Tuesday November 15 th ~
Drove to Artesia, New Mexico and stopped at the nursing home which already had a popular activity going. However, next door there is an Adult Daycare Facility attached to the Senior Center. I was able to come in and sing for three patients and a staff member.
          Wednesday November 16 th ~
Spent most of the day driving back down into Texas.
          Thursday November 17 th ~
Sang at the "Villagio" memory care facility in Kerrville, Texas.
          Friday November 18 th ~
In Center Point, Texas folks at the "Trinity Church" have a double-wide Parsonage which they use for classes on Sunday. Years ago they gave me a key to the front door so I can plug in an extension cord and access the shower facilities. Sweet!
          Saturday November 19 th ~
Attended their bi-monthly fellowship meal and service which is geared primarily for the youth. Tamales and chili, which tasted good at the time but, caused some heartburn through the night.
          Sunday November 20 th ~
Attended worship services here at Trinity where I was given the opportunity to share a bit. Then at an evening community Thanksgiving meal held at the elementary school I was given the honor of contributing some songs and message after we'd eaten.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Your Brother in Christ, Larry Eugene Stevens

P.S.    To God be the Glory!
