Then the LORD came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, he said, "Listen to my words: "When there is a prophet among you, I, the LORD, reveal myself to them in visions, I speak to them in dreams. But this is not true of my servant Moses; he is faithful in all my house. With him I speak face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?"
Numbers 12:5-8

          Monday January 23 rd ~
Published from a campground in Pelahatchie, Mississippi.
          Tuesday January 24 th ~
Crossed the border into Louisiana and sang at "The Olive Branch" nursing home in the town of Richmond.
          Wednesday January 25 th ~
Drove to Coushatta, Louisiana and sang in the Alzheimer's Unit of their nursing home. On the way there, while driving on a two lane highway, a large semi logging-truck coming toward me had a rock fly off and hit my windshield, leaving a golf-ball size starburst right in my line of sight.
          Thursday January 26 th ~
Stopped in Mansfield, Louisiana and ministered in their Nursing Center for a nice group of folks. Then crossed the border into Texas.
          Friday January 27 th ~
     Took the day off.
          Saturday January 28 th ~
Drove south to Madisonville, Texas and shared at the "Riverwood" nursing home. Then on to cousins' Don & Sue Ellen's.
          Sunday January 29 th ~
Attended the "Home Church" in Walhalla, Texas with thirteen Brothers & Sisters who gave me the honor of sharing a bit in song, testimony and message. Enjoyed a wonderful fellowship meal afterwards, then drove to Yoakum, Texas to cousin Ricci's.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.

In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality.
Proverbs 12:28

          Monday January 16 th ~
Attended an early morning men's study at the Methodist church in Ocilla, Georgia. Then got over to my friends' (Jay & Kathy's) house to publish the newsletter and continue working on the yearly tax chore.
          Tuesday January 17 th ~
Finished the tax chore and loaded everything back up in the van in anticipation of heading out tomorrow.
Joined Jay at the church for a men's evening fellowship. Then a late dinner back at the house.
          Wednesday January 18 th ~
Said my goodbyes to this lovely couple and drove to Fitzgerald, Georgia where I was able to minister in the "Life Care Center" nursing home.
          Thursday January 19 th ~
Having crossed the border, I stopped in Montgomery, Alabama and sang at the "South Haven" nursing home.
          Friday January 20 th ~
On to Demopolis, Alabama where I was able to share at the "Woodhaven Manor".
          Saturday January 21 st ~
Y'all may remember that a month ago I experienced a health issue which I treated holistically, and seven days later, was put in contact with a Doctor who had his office run some lab test, free of charge. Well, I received his email letter with the findings. In part, this is what he said, "Your blood count and chemistry profile are within acceptable limits".
Evidently the good Lord has taken care of this particular problem, without a more serious underling condition. Praise God!
          Sunday January 22 nd ~
Attended services at the "Mount Parmel Missionary Baptist Church" in Pelahatchie, Mississippi where the pastor called me up at the end of the service and handed me the microphone to share a short message.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
1 John 4:7

          Monday January 9 th ~
Spent one more day in Quitman, Georgia. Did some visiting. Published from the Crosspoint Church. Parked at my friend (Terry's) house where we've developed the tradition through the years of watching the College football playoff. It finally ended past midnight in this timezone.
          Tuesday January 10 th ~
     Time off.
          Wednesday January 11 th ~
Drove to Ocilla, Georgia and ministered at the "Heritage Place" personal care home for eight residents. Then over to Jay & Kathy's house. Attended the mid-week fellowship at the Methodist church which they pastor.
          Thursday January 12 th ~
Sang at the "Pruitt Health" nursing home here in Ocilla.
Jay & Kathy have me park at their house when I'm in the area and give me the run of the place. So, I spread out the files on the formal dining room table and started working on the yearly tax chore.
Attended an evening prayer group activity with Jay followed by dinner out.
          Friday January 13 th ~
Shared at the "Palemon Gaskin" nursing home in town with a wonderful group. I think the lovely activity director (Tracy) gathered most everyone. At one point (after putting up with it for several songs) I had to ask two staff members to take their conversation to another room. Unfortunately I think one of them was the administrator. But thankfully they stopped the distraction without an argument so that we were able to have a wonderful time.
          Saturday January 14 th ~
Spent half the day continuing work on the tax chore, then some visiting with Jay and watching the football playoffs.
          Sunday January 15 th ~
Jay pastors' two Methodist churches about ten miles apart. I was given the honor of sharing in both, plus with a few kids in a class at the second.
     A relaxing afternoon back at J & K's.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.

Remember him--before the silver cord is severed, and the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, and the wheel broken at the well, and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
Ecclesiastes 12:6, 7

          Monday January 2 nd ~
Started off this week in Brewton, Alabama spending time with friends' Tommy & Jenny and Sarah & Tom. Sarah and Tom are the one's who (almost three years ago) gave me the camper-van I'm using.

Took some time off at "The Refuge". A forty-five acre (Faith Based) prison ministry where men transition through a nine month program. The first three months attending daily classes and working on the property including gardening and building projects and maintenance among many other activities.     There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord.
Proverbs 21:30

          Monday December 26 th ~
Published the newsletter from the "Salem Heights Baptist Church" in Laurel, Mississippi.
          Tuesday December 27 th ~
Last week a health issue appeared which I treated Holistically, alleviating most of the symptoms. A Brother (Richard) put me in contact with his Doctor friend (Mark) who (although he was taking a holiday week off) spent 20 minutes on the phone with me and offered to have his office take fluid samples for lab test which he would email me the results of when they come in. All free of charge.
So I did that this morning, then crossed the border into Alabama.
          Wednesday December 28 th ~
Stopped in Monroeville, Alabama and ministered at the "Monroe Manor". Then on to Brewton, Alabama where I hooked up with long-time friends at the "Dogwood Hills AG Church". Got to share some songs at the mid-week service.
          Thursday December 29 th ~
Looks like I've picked up another Cold. Runny nose, itchy eyes and lots of sneezing.
          Friday December 30 th ~
Folks here at the church have converted the old Parsonage into "The Quest House". A place where I can park, plug-in, shower and recover from this Cold.
          Saturday December 31 st ~
     Rest.
          Sunday January 1 st ~
Most of the Cold symptoms have abated. Attended services here at Dogwood where Tommy (Pastor) invited me to share a bit. Voice held up.
Joined several for lunch, then an afternoon of more rest.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
