   Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin. But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

          Monday August 3 rd ~

     Published from the Foursquare church in Reedsport, Oregon and spent some time with a dear Sister (Deb).

          Tuesday August 4 th ~

     Sang at the nursing home attached to the hospital here in Reedsport.

          Wednesday August 5 th ~

     Drove to Florence, Oregon and shared in the main activity room at "Spruce Point". The activity director and administrator treated me to dinner with the residents and a place to park and plug-in for the night.

          Thursday August 6 th ~

     Got treated to breakfast, then ministered in the large memory care section of "Spruce Point". A quick shower at the Marina down by the docks, then sixty miles inland to Eugene, Oregon.

          Friday August 7 th ~

     Sang at the "Crescent Park" senior living complex in Eugene.

          Saturday August 8 th ~

     Day of rest.

          Sunday August 9 th ~

     Attended the first service at the "Bethany" church in Franklin where I was invited to share a bit. Then drove to Junction City in time for the second service at "Kings Grace Fellowship". I was given a place to park for the night, use of their shower, and during the evening service, an opportunity to share in song and a few short messages.       

    
And so begins another week.

   So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

          Monday July 27 th ~

     Published this week's newsletter from the Foursquare church in Lincoln City, Oregon. Then ministered in the memory care section at "Lakeview".

          Tuesday July 28 th ~

     Drove south to Newport, Oregon and sang at the nursing home by the hospital. Then fifteen miles inland to Siletz, Oregon where I hooked up with old friends' Scott & Kellie, owners of the Christian Radio Station in Newport.

          Wednesday July 29 th ~

     Joined Scott in town to do an interview in the Studio for broadcasting on their Radio Station. Then ministered at the "Oceanview" retirement community.

     Lunch with a dear Sister, then back to Siletz for dinner with some of Scott's extended family.

          Thursday July 30 th ~

     Having said my goodbyes last night, I headed out early to Newport for a breakfast visit with my dear Sister Robin. Then on to Yachts, Oregon where I sang at the "Sea Aire" facility. These dear folks allow me to park there overnight and even give me the use of a shower in one of their unoccupied rooms.

     Afterwards while visiting with the folks, a couple called me over. The wife telling me, "My husband has been looking forward to your return all year. He had a dentist appointment today, but I didn't tell him about it because I didn't want him to miss you."

     Now that's humbling. I told 'em how Special that made me feel.

          Friday July 31 st ~

     Drove to Florence, Oregon and shared at the "Elderberry Square" complex in two of their buildings. Then on to the Foursquare church in Reedsport, Oregon where I've enjoyed a sweet welcome throughout the years.

          Saturday August 1 st ~

     Enjoyed lunch with a Sister (Diane) from the church. And later in the afternoon, enjoyed grilled Kabob's with some other members.

          Sunday August 2 nd ~

     I was given the honor of sharing a bit during services here at Foursquare, then made myself some pancakes for lunch in the church's kitchen.        

    
And so begins another week.

   The apostles performed many signs and wonders among the people. And all the believers used to meet together in Solomon's Colonnade. No one else dared join them, even though they were highly regarded by the people. Nevertheless, more and more men and women believed in the Lord and were added to their number. As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.



Acts 5: 12-16
         
          Monday July 20 th ~

     Drove south down the Oregon coast to Lincoln City where I hooked up with friends at the Foursquare church. Arranged to minister in some local nursing homes this coming week and published the newsletter from the church.

          Tuesday July 21 st ~

     Sang at the  "Lakeview" assisted living facility in their main dinning room, then enjoyed having lunch with five of the lady's at their table.

          Wednesday July 22 nd ~

     Spent the bulk of the day doing domestic chores including a bear-of-a-time repairing one of the day/night shades from the van. Then at the mid-week meeting I got to visit with my friend Don.

          Thursday July 23 rd ~

     Ministered at the "Hillside Place" here in Lincoln City.
     At one point, a lady stood up and said, "I want to tell you something."   Yes mam?" I replied.

She said, "Years ago I was living at "Baycrest" in South Beach (30 miles south) when you sang for us and stayed the night in our guest room. You left early the next morning. This is the first time since then that I've been where you were at, and able to hear you."
     She added a few encouraging complements which got a positive response from the other residents.

        Later in the afternoon I went out to dear friends' Don & Pat's for dinner and some sweet fellowship.

          Friday July 24 th ~

     Attended an early morning breakfast fellowship with a bunch of Christian men from around town at a local restaurant. Got invited to share a bit about the ministry and afterwords the owner (Cary) did a video interview with me for his ministerial website.

     Later, a sweet visit with my dear friend Darrell (Pastor at Foursquare). Then Tom & Sarah showed up at the church. They are the lovely couple from Alabama who provided the ministry's Tour Bus a year and a half ago. They're on a long trip around the country and timing was conducive for us to connect.

          Saturday July 25 th ~

     Attended the men's Bible Study Breakfast here at Foursquare. Tom & Sarah joined us for donuts and some visiting time before continuing on their journey.

          Sunday July 26 th ~

     Attended worship services here at Foursquare where I was given the honor of sharing a bit. Then accompanied Don & Pat to Pig-n-Pancakes for a meal.        

    
And so begins another week.
