Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Monday November 25 th ~
Published the newsletter from the parsonage
at the "Trinity Church" in Center Point, Texas. Then drove into
Kerrville to arrange a nursing home for tomorrow and to do laundry.
Started packing up the van in anticipation of heading out in the
morning.
Tuesday November 26 th ~
Ministered at the "Edgewater Care Center" in Kerrville, Texas.
Wednesday November 27 th ~
Sang at the "Val Verde Health & Rehab Center" in Del Rio, Texas.
Then over to the "Country Place Senior Living" complex. ------- They
have two large buildings on the same property, one is an upscale
assisted living facility, the other is also a rather new, richly
appointed Memory Care Home. They brought some residents to the former,
over from the latter, to make up a sweet little group of patients and
staff for a time of Praising the Lord.
Thursday November 28 th ~
Thanksgiving Day! Splurged on a cheap ($24.99) motel room in the
small west Texas town of Sanderson where I spent the day relaxing and
watching some football games.
Friday November 29 th ~
Stopped in Fort Stockton, Texas and ministered at their nursing center.
A couple of years ago the old facility in Alpine,
Texas (about 67 miles away) closed down for good. Today, a resident
reminded me that I sang for her while she was living there.
Saturday November 30 th ~
Drove to El Paso, Texas and hooked-up with folks at the Westside
Community Church. Spent the afternoon watching the little-ones rehearse
for their Christmas Pageant. Then joined pastor's Joe and Debra for
dinner at their house with some of their family.
Sunday December 1 st ~
Attended worship services here, where I enjoyed the honor of contributing a couple of songs.
Joined a group for lunch at Whataburger.
Hung-out a bit with the Youth Group back at the church during the afternoon.
Ended the day watching "Sunday Night Football".
And so begins another week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Yours in Christ, Larry
P.S. To God be the glory!
