Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.

Monday October 13 th ~
Columbus Day.
Up early. Drove into the small town of Springer, New Mexico where I
parked beside the library and accessed their wifi from the van to
publish the newsletter. Then got over to the nursing home in town where I
was able to minister for an appreciative group of folks. In a very
large room they had about thirty recliners arranged against the walls in
a horseshoe configuration. Standing approximately in the middle, it
seemed like most everyone could hear me just fine.
Did the laundry-mat chore in town, then settled into the local RV Park
where the owner only charged me ten bucks to plug-in overnight and
shower.
Tuesday October 14 th ~
Drove through Las Vegas, New Mexico where I stopped and sang at the
nursing home, then on to Espanola, NM where I hooked up with an old
friend (Paul) at the Baptist church.
Wednesday October 15 th ~
Breakfast out with Paul where the decision was made to stay through the weekend.
In an unused class room I was able to set up the recoding equipment and started working on a song.

Also received an email from Scott, the owner of the Christian Radio
Station in Newport, Oregon. He had a suggestion of recording the weekly
newsletter for broadcasting on his station as a regular feature.
Paul suggested a simple way to do that, which I did, then sent it off to Scott as an mp3 attachment.
Thursday October 16 th ~
Continued recording work and attended a once-a-month senior luncheon
here at the church. And later, a men's evening meal and Bible study, as
well.
Friday October 17 th ~
Sang at the nursing home here in Espanola, then did some more recording work.
Saturday October 18 th ~
Spent most of the day finishing recording and editing "In The Garden" Click to Hear.
Sunday October 19 th ~
Attended worship services here where I was given the honor of
contributing some songs and testimony about the Lord's provision for
this ministry through the years.
Then enjoyed a time of fellowship at lunch with Paul's family.
And so begins another week.
May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!
Your Brother in Christ, Larry Eugene Stevens
P.S. To God be the Glory!
