July 31, 2017

Greetings,

When I applied my mind to know wisdom and to observe the labor that is done on earth--people getting no sleep day or night-- then I saw all that God has done. No one can comprehend what goes on under the sun. Despite all their efforts to search it out, no one can discover its meaning. Even if the wise claim they know, they cannot really comprehend it.
Ecclesiastes 8:16, 17

          Monday July 24 th  ~
Did the laundry-mat chore in Lincoln City, Oregon. Then published the newsletter from the Foursquare church where I've been staying this past week. Followed by a wonderful fellowship lunch with my dear friend Darrell.
          Tuesday July 25 th ~
Drove to Newport, Oregon and ministered in their nursing home.
          Wednesday July 26 th ~
Over to the Christian Radio Station in Newport for the yearly on-air-interview about the ministry with the owner, Scott. Then a short drive inland to Siletz, Oregon for the senior (Meals on Wheels) lunch with my Sister in Christ, Robin.
Ended the day in Siletz at the home of Scott & Keli.
          Thursday July 27 th ~
Drove to Yachats, Oregon and sang at the "Sea-Aire" assisted living facility.
Every year they give me a place to park, plug-in and even open up an empty room so I can shower. Sweet.
          Friday July 28 th ~
Drove to Florence, Oregon and shared the "My Journey Through Israel" presentation on the big TV in the lobby of the "Spruce Point" assisted living facility. These thoughtful folks also provide a place to park, plug-in and shower.
          Saturday July 29 th ~
Drove to Reedsport, Oregon and parked at the Foursquare church, as in years past.
          Sunday July 30 th ~
During worship, I'd been given the opportunity to share about Israel. Unfortunately, two minutes into the video, their computer started updating. Rendering the overhead projection system useless for the rest of the service. So Terry (Pastor) had me break out the guitar and share a bit in song.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Your Brother in Christ, Larry Eugene Stevens

P.S.    To God be the Glory!
