Douglas, Georgia

"St. Mark United Methodist Church" Douglas, Georgia
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

Monday January 21 st ~     Began this week at the home of Jay & Kathy who Pastor a couple of churches in the area of Ocilla, Georgia.
This is the first full day of ear drops and oral antibiotic treatment for a nasty ear infection. Although the sharp pain has eased, I'm experiencing bouts of queasiness.
          Tuesday January 22 nd ~
By the afternoon I felt well enough to start working on the yearly Tax chore. Joined Jay for their mid-week Men's study.
          Wednesday January 23 rd ~
Spent the day on the Tax chore. Ear still clogged. Minor queasiness.
          Thursday January 24 th ~
Ministered at the "Heritage" personal care home. A challenge with one ear clogged. Later, more Tax work back at the house.
          Friday January 25 th ~
The van now has 205,500 miles on it. It's been 14 years and 120,000 miles since the last engine tune-up. A dear member of the church (James) had his mechanic install new spark-plugs, wires, cap & rotor and wouldn't let me pay. What a gift.
          Saturday January 26 th ~
Drove to Douglas, Georgia where Jay had arranged with a Pastor (Chris) friend of his for me to share in their church tomorrow.
          Sunday January 27 th ~
Enjoyed the honor of sharing in song, testimony and message at St. Marks Methodist. A bit of a challenge with the ear still stopped up.
I've been advised to, and went ahead and sat-up, an appointment with an ear, nose and throat specialist for tomorrow morning here in Douglas.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Your Brother in Christ, Larry Eugene Stevens
