Quitman, Georgia

      Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered.

             Monday December 31 st ~     Breakfast with Tommy, pastor at "Dogwood Hills" here in Brewton, Alabama. Then over to the laundry-mat to access their wifi and publish, combining two chores.
     Parked at the church and to bed before mid-night when the new year arrives.
          Tuesday January 1 st ~
     New Years Day! Took off most of the holiday. Joined Tommy in the evening for their "Celebration Recovery" weekly service.
          Wednesday January 2 nd ~
     Breakfast with Tommy saying our goodbyes. Then drove east to Elba, Alabama and sang at the "Taylor Mills" assisted living facility.
          Thursday January 3 rd ~
     In Enterprise, Alabama I was able to minister in the two sections of the "Wynnwood" nursing home.
          Friday January 4 th ~
     Crossed into Georgia. Parked at the "Refuge of Hope" just outside of Quitman.
     Located on 45 acres, a one year faith based program for men transitioning out of prison.
          Saturday January 5 th ~
     Joined a group of men for their early morning gathering at the nursing home in town. Then after breakfast with my friend Terry, I got to share a bit back at the nursing home to open their traditional Saturday service.
          Sunday January 6 th ~
     Attended the first and second services at the Methodist church in Quitman where I enjoyed the opportunity to share in song and testimony.
    
And so begins another week.
