As dead flies give perfume a bad smell, so a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor.

At “The Haven” memory care facility in town, the staff greeted me like an old friend and immediately arranged for me to share with the folks, just before a group of children were due in for an Easter egg hunt inside the unit.

Drove to Grinnell, Iowa and hooked up with friends at the “Westfield Community Church”. This group, along with some from the Nazarene church, gather kids (some unchurched) for a meal followed by a service where I was given the honor of sharing in song, testimony and message.

Sang at the “Windsor Manor” assisted living facility in town.
         Friday April 19 th ~
Ministered at the “St. Francis Manor” here in Grinnell. Then attended a Cantata an old friend was singing in.
         Saturday April 20 th ~
While walking by a lake, I sat down on a bench to visit with a fella who was using an electric wheelchair.
Don’t know if I was planting a seed (the gospel) or watering a plant. But I do know God makes things grow.
         Sunday April 21 st ~
Attended services at the Westfield church where I enjoyed the honor of sharing in song and message. Then, after some fellowship at their pot-luck, I got over to the Nazarene church to say high to some folks at their pot-luck.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Your Brother in Christ, Larry Eugene Stevens
