Monday November 3 rd ~
Published the newsletter from the Baptist church in Deming, New Mexico.
Tuesday November 4 th ~
Sang at the "Willow Manor" assisted living facility here in Deming.
Then had lunch with friend's Phil and Paula. They filled the gas tank
and even slipped me a check from the church for the ministry. Sweet.
Wednesday November 5 th ~
Drove to Las Cruces, New Mexico and ministered at "The Heritage"
assisted living facility. Then continued on to El Paso, Texas where I
hooked up with friends at the "Westside Community Church". Attended
their mid-week prayer service where I got to lead a few songs.
Thursday November 6 th ~
Ministered at the "White Acres" assisted living facility here in El Paso.
Later, I accompanied Joe (Pastor) to the house of a home bound ninety year old lady who is blind. We sang some hymns, prayed and partook of communion.
Friday November 7 th ~
Sang at the "Good Samaritan" nursing home for a few minutes before a
Catholic Priest was due to come in and Bless the folks and serve
Communion. I stepped aside while this was going on, then continued singing afterwards.
Saturday November 8 th ~
A day of rest.
Sunday November 9 th ~
Attended the Westside church here in El Paso, where I enjoyed the
honor of sharing some songs and testimony. Joined a group for lunch, then visited with some of the dad's during the evening youth service.
And so begins another week.
