August 1, 2016

Greetings,
For this week's newsletter click on;
www.nursinghomemusicministry.com/8-1-2016.html

The LORD is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does. The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. The LORD watches over all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy. My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever.
Psalm 145:17-21

          Monday July 25 th ~

Did the laundry mat thing in Tillamook, Oregon. Published the newsletter from the town's library. Got in a walk followed by a shower at the YMCA. Then drove south to Lincoln City, Oregon.
          Tuesday July 26 th ~
Sang in the large Alzheimer's section of the "Lakeview" facility in town and had a nice visit with Darrel, the pastor of the Foursquare Church which has for years now welcomed me with open arms including a place to park and plug in.
          Wednesday July 27 th ~
Ministered at the "Hilltop" ALF in town. Then later in the day, an old friend (Lawrence) arrived for one night. He preaches on the street in major metropolitan cities around the country.
Pretty good timing. The church here had scheduled a pot-luck dinner for their mid-week service. Wonderful time of good ole' fashion fellowship.
          Thursday July 28 th ~
Shared with a large group of folks in the main dining room of "Lakeview". Lunch with Darrel & Lawrence. Then said goodbye to Lawrence as he headed south to a big city to preach.
          Friday July 29 th ~
Attended a breakfast fellowship with some local old-timers. Later in the day, a lovely couple (Don & Pat) picked me up for dinner out.
          Saturday July 30 th ~
     A day of rest.
          Sunday July 31 st ~
Enjoyed the honor of being given the traditional sermon time here at the Foursquare Church in Lincoln City. Shared in song, testimony and message, including a lot of question and answer time. Then afterwards, a delicious lunch with my dear friend Darrell.
In the afternoon I got over to the Baptist church for their hymn sing where I got invited to share a couple of original songs.

And so begins another week.

May The Lord Our God
Guard, Guide And Direct You.
In The Name Of Jesus. Amen!

Your Brother in Christ, Larry Eugene Stevens

P.S.    To God be the Glory!
